Big Gun's XR650R system does more than just perform - they went a step further and tucked the header behind the frame tube for added protection, durability and increased performance that's one of a kind. The Big Gun Race Series line of exhaust systems are designed for all-out maximum racing performance. ICC (Internal Ceramic Coating) head, mid-pipe and tail-pipe (value: 1/2 hp lower engine temp, longer engine life). Engine designers and tuners in Formula One, NASCAR and virtually all forms of motorsports know the benefits of aerospace quality ceramic coating on the inside and outside of a performance exhaust system. Ceramic coating allows for hotter exhaust gasses which expand faster, increasing the exhaust gas exit speeds resulting in as much as a 2% increase in horsepower. Big Gun's ceramic coating is applied to the inside and outside of the head pipe, mid pipe and tail pipe. ECC (External Silver Ceramic Coating) head, mid-pipe and tail-pipe, resists flaking, bluing and rust (value: 1/2 hp lower engine temp, longer engine life). Standard Race Core produces maximum performance (should be used for closed course competition only). Works style CNC billet aluminum end cap with USFS approved screen type spark arrestor. Lightweight head and mid-pipe constructed from the highest grade USA made 18 gauge mild steel. Performance muffler packing. New sealed Inlet end cap for a leakless seal (first in the industry). Pop rivets are all stainless steel blind end so they can't leak or rust. 6 month warranty.
