Alphas Three Layer Systems Design allows you to customize its function by simply adding or removing appropriate layers as needed. Layer One consists of a rugged outer shell constructed in authentic Cordura fabric with ballistic nylon mesh panels for maximum airflow and superior abrasion resistance. Two chest and two lower flap pockets plus handy side entry zipper pockets offer secure storage for personal items. For added safety in low light conditions, 3M Scotchlite piping is located at the side arms, chest, back yoke and collar. Layer Two offers of a sporty two-stage waterproof, breathable rain jacket cut in sturdy rip stop nylon. This jacket can be worn both over or under the main outer shell. Forget having to stow away extra personal gear as this jacket pulls double duty as great looking functional sportswear. Layer Three includes of a removable thermal layer with authentic Thermolite insulation.
