Biltwell Beehive LED Taillight The Biltwell Beehive tail light features a two-phase 15 element LED and ripple finish lens. It can mount onto the Biltwell Model B brackets or Model-A style taillight/license plate bracket in minutes. Or, you can use any custom fender bracket attached to your bike by any hand-fabbed method you desire. The outside diameter of the Beehives alloy housing is just over 2-5/8 inches (67mm), and the red lens is one inch smaller at 1 5/8 inches. When illuminated, the LED is easily visible at 300 feet, but due to its small size it may not pass safety inspection in your state or country of registration. This is a custom component for handcrafted motorcycles, so the DOT-worthiness of such vehicles is always dubious. If youre looking for laser brightness from outer space, please consider another taillight. The Beehive is for guys who want to build the cleanest, leanest custom motorcycle possible.
