This item mounts in between the upper and lower heat shields located on the front exhaust pipe on 93present Dressers and Road Kings.,That area is not covered by a heat shield and if the pipe were to discolor it is visible.,This cover provides a smooth transition between the heat shields and makes them appear as one continuous cover.Installation:,This item is very easy to install.,Loosen the clamps for the upper and lower heat shields on the front header pipe.,Slide the Bridge the Gap heat shield in between the two existing heat shields.,Retighten the clamps on the upper and lower heat shields.
