The Drop Seat Kit is a bolt on frame accessory designed for easy installation. There is no cutting,crimping or welding involved. No specialty tools are needed,basic hand tools will complete the installation. The average installation takes approximately 3 to 3 12 hours from start to finish. All hardware and materials you will need in order to convert your motorcycle is provided in the drop seat kit. Fits 09 and newer touring models Lowers Seat 3 12 inches Seat is narrowed 3 inches Does not alter ground clearance Bolt on kitSimple to install No special tools needed No change to ride geometry Fits ABS or nonABS bikes 2up or Solo seat kits All metal parts powder coated or anodized Optional rider,passenger backrests Optional special order seat skins Optional matching air cleanerSpecial Note 1: If you have a 2010 thru 2012 CVO STREET GLIDEFLHX or CVO ROAD GLIDE ULTRA FLTR motorcycle,the PAUGHCOSBaggerWerx Drop Seat Kit should not be installed as it will causethe rear tire to rub on the battery box which could lead to seriousinjury or death. These models are equipped with an 18,high profilerear tire. We do not recommend doing so but possibly using a lowprofile18 rear tire such as Metzeler or another brand rear tire mayafford enough clearance to allow for installation of the PAUGHCOSBaggerWerx Drop Seat Kit on these models. IMPORTANT: Youshould check the tire manufacturers specifications and your HarleyDavidson service department recommendations before ordering andinstalling a low profile tire on these models.Special Note 2: If you have a 2010 thru 2012 CVO STREET GLIDEFLHX or CVO ROAD GLIDE ULTRA FLTR equipped with adjustable rearshocks,it will be necessary to replace them with HarleyDavidson airshocks OEM 5456509. This air shock must be used to replacethe FL CVO adjustable nonair shock before installing PAUGHCOSBaggerWerx Drop Seat Kit.Special Note 3: PAUGHCOS BaggerWerx highly recommendsthat the PAUGHCOS BaggerWerx Drop Seat Kit be installed by aqualified HarleyDavidson technician. Note: If there have been anychanges from the OEM stock rear wheel,tire or shocks,it is theresponsibility of the installer to check all clearances when installingthe BaggerWerx Drop Seat Kit
